Off Road Equipment Begins in Osborne Park, Perth.
Off Road Equipment began in Osborne Park, Perth, in 1972, manufacturing alloy and steel bull bars. Over the years, it grew into a trusted 4WD accessories destination, supplying premium gear and professional installations. Today, ORE operates a showroom, 4WD display centre, and installation workshop in Myaree, helping Perth drivers prepare their vehicles for every adventure.
1980
Growing with Western Australia’s 4WD Community.
During the 1980s, ORE continued to grow as more Australians discovered the freedom of 4WD touring. As a result, the team expanded its range of products to support weekend trips, camping adventures, and long-distance travel across WA. The business became known for helping Perth 4WD owners prepare their vehicles for rugged conditions.
1990

Throughout the 1990s, Off Road Equipment became closely connected with the touring lifestyle. During this period, the previous owners spent time supporting and promoting Tagalong Tours, helping customers experience some of Western Australia’s most remote and exciting destinations. These adventures strengthened ORE’s connection with the 4WD community and highlighted the importance of reliable equipment for safe travel.
2000
Expanding into Caravans and Outdoor Travel.
As travel trends changed, ORE adapted to meet new customer needs. During the 2000s, the business moved into caravans and broader outdoor travel solutions, helping families enjoy longer holidays and more comfortable adventures. Consequently, ORE continued to evolve while maintaining its focus on quality products and customer service.
